Country Before Party

Governing requires cooperation and working together. It’s is a non-negotiable. We don’t have to agree on every issue, but we have a responsibility to find common ground on what’s best for the majority of Americans. Open dialogue and good-faith negotiation are essential to serving the people. Any politician unwilling to work across the aisle is putting politics ahead of progress and it harms the people we are elected to serve. I will not hold the government hostage or force a shutdown simply because agreement is difficult. The American people deserve solutions, not stalemates.
