Social Security
“Hardworking Americans kept their end of the deal by paying into Social Security their whole lives. The government must keep its promises and protect it.” ~ Kevin McClellan
The Problem
Social Security was built on a promise. That promise is now at risk—not because workers failed, but because Washington mismanaged it. Today, working Americans are told:
Today’s workers are told:
Pay more.
Get less.
Retire later.
Accept uncertainty.
The Solution
That’s unacceptable. Social Security doesn’t need to be cut. It needs to be protected, strengthened, and honestly funded. Legal, working contributors strengthen Social Security now and for the future. A larger, lawful workforce means more payroll contributions and a stronger trust fund. We do that by expanding the number of contributors — not shrinking benefits.
1. Expand the contributor base through immigration reform.
Legal, working contributors strengthen Social Security immediately and long-term.
2. Stop bleeding American wealth overseas.
End wasteful foreign commitments that weaken domestic security and drain resources that should protect American retirees.
3. Reinvest savings from reduced foreign commitments into U.S. trust funds.
Those savings should be reinvested here, into U.S. trust funds — where they belong.
4. Apply Social Security contributions to AI and automation gains.
As technology and automation replace workers, they must also help fund retirement. If machines take jobs, they don’t get a free ride while workers get left behind.
5. Lock Social Security funds away from general government spending.
Social Security funds must be locked away. Separate from general government spending, fully audited, and completely transparent.
No raids.
No games.
No broken promises.
If you paid in, you get what you were promised.
